The theme of the June FAB BAG is to "Take Charge" of your life - be it for yourself, your career or your relationships. It contains products from the brands Ananda Spa, Cuccio, Votre & a bonus product from All Good Scents. All of the brands are new to me. I received my June FAB BAG on 13th June but instead of an unboxing, I decided to use the products so that I can give a first impressions to you! The FAB BAG comes with FAB Post, which is a digest/magazine that contains various articles and discount vouchers you can avail at the FAB BAG website. This month, you will get a Rs.1000 off at L'Occitane spa!
This month's bag seems to be made of faux leather, it can be easily reused to keep makeup items like lipstick, eyeliner, concealer in your purse.Its not big enough to store brushes though.

Votre Deep Pore Cleansing Clay Masque:
I love trying out new masks and I am happy to get one! However, I am supposed to get the 'Intensive Brightening Masque' and not the deep pore cleansing variant which is actually meant for oily skin; as I have normal to dry skin. I have contacted a FAB BAG representative regarding this & they are sending a replacement.
Since I have used this product, I would like to give my thoughts. Some of its key ingredients are tea tree, neem and rosehip oil. It feels light, has a strong herbal scent which I'm not a fan of and definitely feels drying on my skin; since it is meant for oily skin, I am letting this point go. It has a exfoliating texture so while washing it off, I like to massage it like a facewash. I'm very impressed with this mask, it left a glow to my skin! My blemishes have definitely diminished and my skin is very clear, hence the glow. In fact, I woke up the next day and the red blemishes had disappeared from my cheeks! It does tighten the skin. Comparing this to a face mask in the similar price range, i.e, The Body Shop Warming Mineral Mask, the Votre mask is leaves my skin more dry, feels cool on the skin but has similar after effects.
This particular sample is 40g (1.41 oz) & costs Rs. 510 ($8), however it feels like there's just 20g of product in the jar! I will definitely be saving this for bad skin days. This sample will last for 5-6 uses I feel. Full size details -

Ananda Spa Sandalwood & Rose Light Moiturizer for normal and dry skin :
In my previous post, I had mentioned about my skin getting dry these days & while filling out the FAB BAG form, I had mentioned the same so I am happy about getting a moisturizer meant for my skin type. The moisturizer is creamy but lightweight, it easily melts into the skin. It has a strong rose scent (similar to Just Herbs Rose Face Pack) which I like but it could be a bit much for those with sensitive nose. It definitely feels like a high end product. The quantity of the sample isn't mentioned but I think its 5-7ml. I used a lot of it post the Votre Deep Pore Cleansing Mask mentioned above and I was impressed how it felt like nothing was on my skin after patting it in, yet my skin became smooth! Next morning my skin looked well hydrated. I use this in the morning & night time by adjusting the quantity required. See more Ananda Spa products here

Cuccio Naturale Butter Blend - hydrating butter for hands, feet & body :
I got a 9.24g (0.33 oz) sample of the 'Tuscan Citrus Herb' variant. It has a light green color & a fresh citrusy scent. I'm a fan of citrus scented products (except orange scented ones) so I'm happy I got this variant. It has a thick texture but I think it is whipped because it easily melts into the skin and does not feel greasy. I use it on my hands & cuticles and it makes them buttery smooth. Very impressive! Due to the small sample size I am refraining from using it on driest parts like elbows & knees but I feel it will be effective there as well. This sample costs Rs. 151 ($2.4).

I got a 1ml(0.03 fl.oz.) sample of the 'Smooth' variant. This is a bonus product, keeping in mind the upcoming Father's Day on June 21st. I feel that perfume is a bit nontraditional to give your father but you can keep it in mind for gifting your better half :) I like the smell of men's perfumes as much as anyone so this sample is going to be for me :P

Apart from the nail polish, all the products are skin care related & personally, I'm fine with that because as a makeup junkie, I buy a lot of makeup but miss out on skin care. The cost of a monthly bag (Rs. 599 / $9) easily exceeds the value of products in the bag (Rs.510 + 151 + moisturizer+675+EDT = 1336+ / $21 ) this month. I really needed to use the products before I could judge the bag and I'm very impressed by the quality; the face mask, moisturizer, nail polish & butter are definitely going to be put to good use. Therefore, the June FAB BAG gets a thumbs up from me!
